Green is the New Black...Friday
Yay! Our bricks-and-mortar space is officially open...208-B State Street, Greensboro (behind "Peaceful Beginnings"). Andrea just came in and said that the town feels sleepy today. We, however, have enjoyed kind guests and shoppers. We're awake!

Grey Water System
AQUS Toilet System by Water Saver Technologies at Vivavi
As my friend Andrea prepares to (hopefully soon) buy her first home, I have been dreaming about my own, new eco-house and practical ways to make my things more efficient. Here is an innovative idea for creating a grey-water system. The Aqus Toilet System takes extra sink water, disinfects it, and sends it to your toilet for flushing power. Right on. (Am I a dork?) (Don't answer.)

Turn off the tube!
I was addicted to television for a good part of my life. I remember getting to college and having increasing amounts of connection and fun and realized at one point, my sophomore year that...wait-a-minute...I hadn't watched TV in months! AND my life was actually better.
It's sad now, to think how surprised I was by that, but keeping the tube out of sight has only led to positivity in my days.
Now, if I could just break myself of Mtv's online episodes of "My New BFF" or "The Hills." I know. It's embarrassing.

soundtrack
Betsy is loving the "Bon Iver station" on http://www.pandora.com/. Check it out. Nice background music in times of creating.
